SPILL MAGAZINE NEW MUSIC: FAKE SHARK – “SAVE ME”
Fake Shark have stayed at the forefront of Vancouver’s alt pop scene with their hallmark blend of bright buoyant pop and hooky alt rock. Recently, they unveiled the official music video for the new single “Save Me,” a creative and introspective visualizer created by artist Arezo Khanjani.
“The video for ‘Save Me’ is one I’ve wanted to execute for a longtime,” shares lead singer Kevvy Maher. “I’ve been such a massive fan of this Australian band called Vowws, and especially the art of the singer Rizz. She does videos like this for Deftones and Chelsea Wolf, and was nervous to ask her if she’d do one for us. Thankfully, she agreed and created this beautiful story visualizer of people essentially drowning in their problems.”
The music video comes ahead of the band’s co-headlining Western Canada tour with The Royal Foundry, which will see them performing in Vancouver, Banff, Calgary, and Edmonton later this month. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased HERE.
